i chooose Reginald F. Lewis because im interest in his successes as a black man going through a time when no one heard of intergration, civil rights or Martin L. King. Without Reginald F. Lewis how many other people can you look up to that has been addmitted to a Law school that no else has ever had in its 186 years without applying.

make up reflection

A few weeks go our group finally put the survey together and split back up into child safety abd pollution group to move our projects forward. For the next service learning day we are going to go out on market street to see if we can find any polluted or places that are dangerous to children. I would have to say that this was one of our most produtive meetings me and my group ever had.I still feel if we had more time we could get a lot more work done

service learning reflection

Last week in service learning the pollution group left school to look around market street to see if we saw any places where it my be dangerous for kids or polluted. Some students started using our survey to get information about what outside people know about child safety and pollution. We all agreed that for the next meeting our some people are going to vist the day care and the health place and gallery on market street. There are a few stressful things that are going on in our group such as some people are doing what they are supose to be doing. And if since some people are not doing there jobs our group falls behind as a whole.

Service Learning

For Service Learning I would want to go back to my old school or go back somewhere were somebody helped me. I can also go to this program called summer bridge and get in some community service hours. Doing community service is important because you can help out places that can’t afford to give anybody any pay. But most important you can lend a hand to people who need it most.
